Things I am Looking Forward to

These are the things I am looking forward to should I reach my goal of 150 – 170 pounds, which is average for my height (or even just reach a healthy weight):

  1. Getting a bellybutton ring as a reward for my goal
  2. Having a friend do a photoshop image of me as Athena as her gift to me for reaching my goal weight
  3. Getting more tattoos
  4. Wearing shorts
  5. Wearing clothes more befitting my actual style, not having to rely on what is available in my size
  6. Wearing pants again
  7. Wearing jeans again
  8. Be comfortable in pictures
  9. Being able to run again (I can sorta jog as of Oct 2011)
  10. Seeing old friends again that I’ve been avoiding
  11. Feeling more comfortable around people
  12. Being able to go to amusement parks again (and ride rides!)
  13. Feeling attractive again
  14. Go shopping at stores rather than catalogs
  15. Fitting in my car the right way
  16. Wearing a seatbelt again
  17. Feeling comfortable playing at local open-mic nights and coffee houses
  18. Getting better life insurance (I’m always denied cause of my weight)
  19. Going swimming again
  20. Go bike-riding again
  21. Being able to go anywhere and not worried if there are chairs for sitting, and whether I’ll be able to fit in them.
  22. Go grocery shopping without people either staring at me or me physically in pain at the end of the trip because of the extra weight.
  23. Feel like I am not a disappointment to my dad or the boyfriend.
  24. Show my Aunt who said she didn’t want any of her kids to end up like the “Grove’s side of the family” because of our weight that she’s a bitch.
  25. Be able to play djembe in the correct positions
  26. Do a chin-up!
  27. Go to the movie theatre again and once again fit into the seats
  28. Go to the weinberg again and fit in the seats. I went once, was in pain the entire night. Never again.
  29. Do more yoga
  30. Go the Renn Faire again and wear a corset
  31. Wear t-shirts again in public (I can wear long ones as of March 2012)
  32. Wear tank-tops or strap-less tops
  33. Wear cuter sandals
  34. Wear my hair up more without being afraid of it accenting my fat face 😛
  35. Post pictures on facebook
  36. Start taking classes and go back to college without having to worry whether they have seating I can fit in.
  37. Wear a bathing suit
  38. Go swimming again
  39. Lay down comfortably on my back
  40. Sit indian style
  41. Take ATS Bellydance lessons again
  42. Take Karate again
  43. Start guitar lessons
  44. Drive a vehicle without having the seat all the way back or having my stomach against the steering wheel
  45. The sweetheart being able to carry me in his arms
